     Nicholas Fessenden was born in 1682.¹ He was the son of Nicholas Fessenden and Margaret Cheney.¹ Nicholas Fessenden graduated in 1701 from Harvard.² He died in 1719.²

     Samuel Fessenden was born on 12 April 1847.¹ He was the son of Samuel Clement Fessenden.¹ He was 2d lieutenant, 5th Maine battery in 1864, 1st lieutenant, 7th Maine battery in 1865; became a distinguished lawyer at Stamford, Conn., and a leader of the Republican party in that state, and was for many years a member of the Republican national committee.¹

     General Samuel Fessenden was born on 16 July 1784 in Fryeburg, Maine.¹ He was the son of Rev. William Fessenden and Sarah Clement.¹ General Samuel Fessenden graduated in 1806 from Dartmouth.¹ He was admitted to the bar in 1809, and practised at New Gloucester. He was a member of the general court of Massachusetts, 1814-16, and a state senator, 1818-19. He was major-general of the 12th division, Massachusets militia, 1819-33. He removed to Portland in 1822, and was an acknowledged leader in the state of the Federalist party, a representative in the Maine legislature in 1825-26, and an early anti-slavery advocate. He declined to be considered for the presidency of Dartmouth in 1828, and was defeated as the candidate of the Liberal party for governor of Maine in 1847, and for representative in congress in 1848. Bowdoin gave him the degree of LL.D. in 1846.¹ He married Deborah Chandler in 1813.¹ General Samuel Fessenden died on 13 March 1869 in Portland, Maine, at the age of 84.¹

     Samuel Clement Fessenden was born on 7 March 1815 in New Gloucester, Maine.¹ He was the son of General Samuel Fessenden and Deborah Chandler.¹ He graduated from Bowdoin in 1834 and Bangor theological seminary in 1837. He was pastor of the 2d Congregational church, Rockland, Maine, 1837-56, editor and proprietor of the Maine Evangelist, 1856-58, and was admitted to the bar in 1858. He was judge of the municipal court of Rockland and a representative in the 37th congress, 1861-63. He was on the board of examiners of the U.S. patent office, 1865-79, and U.S. consul to St. John, New Brunswick, Canada, 1879-81.¹ Samuel Clement Fessenden died on 18 April 1882 in Stamford, Connecticut, at the age of 67.¹

     William Fessenden was the son of Rev. William Fessenden and Martha Wyeth.¹ William Fessenden graduated in 1737 from Harvard.¹ He married Mary Palmer.¹

     Rev. William Fessenden was born on 3 November 1747 in Cambridge, Massachusetts, (or 14 Nov 1747 Boston, Massachusetts).² He was the son of William Fessenden and Mary Palmer.¹ A.M. Harvard, 1771. He was first minister at Fryeburg, judge of probate, and representative in the state legislature of Massachusetts.¹ Rev. William Fessenden married Sarah Clement.¹ Rev. William Fessenden died on 5 May 1805 in Fryeburg, Maine, at the age of 57.²

     Cynthia A. Fickett was born on 6 September 1796 in Cherryfield, Maine.² She married John Sewall, son of Theodore Sewall and Olive Beal, on 21 July 1814.³ Cynthia A. Fickett appears on the census of 1880 at Bucksport, Maine, where she is living with her son Joseph though the transcribed name is Cornelia Sewal possibly the spelling error was due to her absence from the house because also in the 1880 Census she is also recorded as living with her daughter Olive Fickett.^4,5 She died on 4 November 1897 in Bucksport, Maine, at the age of 101.² She was buried on 6 November 1897 in Mount Hope Cemetery, Bangor, Maine,, Lot Number, 299CG.⁶

     James Fickett was born circa 1858 in Maine.¹ He was the son of Olive Sewall.¹ James Fickett and Oscar Fickett appear on the census of 1880 listed as laborers.¹

     Oscar Fickett was born circa 1862 in Maine.¹ He was the son of Olive Sewall.¹ Oscar Fickett and James Fickett appear on the census of 1880 listed as laborers.¹

     Eleanor Kingsland Field was born in 1818.² She was the daughter of Hickson Woolman Field and Eleanor Kingsland de Forrest.¹ Eleanor Kingsland Field married John Jay, son of Judge William Jay and Augusta McVickar, in 1837.²

     Elijah Field was born on 2 February 1754 in Sunderland, Massachusetts.¹ He married Tryphena Cooley on 1 September 1783.¹ Elijah Field died on 4 February 1822 in Hawley, Massachusetts, at the age of 68.¹

     Hickson Woolman Field was born on 17 October 1788 in Flushing, Long Island.² He married Eleanor Kingsland de Forrest in 1818.²

     Rev. Pindar Field was born on 1 May 1794 in Sunderland, Franklin County, Massachusetts. He was the son of Elijah Field and Tryphena Cooley. Rev. Pindar Field graduated in 1826 from Amherst College M.A.² He married firstly Chiffaenette LaGrass Walton on 27 April 1831. Rev. Pindar Field married secondly Mary Margaret Sewall, daughter of Joseph Sewall and Hannah Shaw, on 28 November 1859 in Old Town, Penobscot, Maine.³ Rev. Pindar Field and Mary Margaret Sewall were living at Hamilton, New York, in 1860 where he was a Congregational missionary.¹ Rev. Pindar Field died on 24 November 1873 in Hamilton, New York, at the age of 79.

     Susan Maria Field was born in 1830?¹ She married John Augustus Pell, son of Alfred Sands Pell and Adelia Duane.¹ Susan Maria Field died in 1893.¹

     Darwin L. Fifield was born in 1869.¹ He married Ina Belle Marston, daughter of Nathaniel B. Marston and Emma Jan Kendrick.¹

     Genevieve Rena Fifield was born in 1911.¹ She was the daughter of Darwin L. Fifield and Ina Belle Marston.¹ Genevieve Rena Fifield died in 1917.¹

     Kathleen Edna Fifield was born in 1908.¹ She was the daughter of Darwin L. Fifield and Ina Belle Marston.¹

     Alice Marshall Finch married Francis Lewis Sewall, son of Dr. Francis Lewis Sewall and Sarah Angelica (Ann) Singleton.¹

     Ellen Jospehine Finch was born in November 1843 in Pennsylvania.² She married William Alfred Sewall, son of Rev. Daniel Sewall and Angelina Brown, circa 1863.² Ellen Jospehine Finch and William Alfred Sewall appear on the census of 1900 at Center Twp., Indiana, William is listed as a musician, they have a couple of lodgers who work on the street cars.²

     Lloyd George Finnie was born in 1895.¹ He married Mary Ida Sewall, daughter of Edward Bradstreet Sewall and Lorena Reeves, in 1957.¹

     Giles Firmin was born in 1614?² He married Susan Ward, daughter of Rev. Nathaniel Ward, in Boston.^1,2 Giles Firmin died in 1697 in England.²

     Christian Fish married James Livingston, son of Rev. John Livingston of Ancrum and Janet Fleming, in 1683 by a contract dated 15 August 1683.¹
