     Emma Gravely was born circa 1809.³ She was the daughter of John Gravely and Martha (Unknown).² Emma Gravely married firstly Édouard Olivier Desbarats, son of Pierre Édouard Desbarats and Josette Voyer, on 12 December 1829 in Holy Trinity, Quebec.⁴ Emma Gravely married secondly Col. John Saint-Alban Sewell, son of Chief Justice Jonathan/3 Sewell and Elizabeth Cornfield, on 16 April 1853 in Quebec.⁴ Emma Gravely died on 5 July 1873 in Quebec "aged sixty four years."³ She was buried on 7 July 1873 in Quebec.³

     John Gravely married Martha (Unknown). John Gravely died before 1829.¹

     Benjamin Graves married Mary Hoar, daughter of John Hoar and Alice (Unknown), on 21 October 1668.¹

     Eben Hitchcock Graves was born on 30 January 1831.¹ He was the son of James Anson Graves and Hermione Hitchcock.¹ Eben Hitchcock Graves married Jane Bronson Hicks, daughter of Charles Hicks and Lemira Henry.¹

     Edmund Augustus Graves was born on 1 September 1856 in Sunderland, Vermont.¹ He was the son of Eben Hitchcock Graves and Jane Bronson Hicks.¹ Edmund Augustus Graves married Harriet Sargent Way.¹

     James Anson Graves was born on 13 May 1793 in Sunderland, Vermont.¹ He married Hermione Hitchcock.¹

     John Harmon Graves was born on 8 June 1919 in New Haven, Connecticut. He was the son of Lewis Way Graves and Margaret Arletta Harmon. John Harmon Graves married firstly Katharine Sewall Whittier, daughter of Charles LeRoy Ince Whittier and Harriet Sydney Sewall, on 14 June 1941 in the Protestant Episcopal Church of St James the Less, Scarsdale, New York, the ceremony was conducted by the Rev. James Harry Price.^1,2 John Harmon Graves died on 29 August 2001 in Langdon Place, Exeter, New Hampshire, at the age of 82.

     Katherine Graves was the daughter of Thomas Graves and Sybil Avery.¹ Katherine Graves married Hon. James Russell.¹

     Lewis Way Graves. Descendant of Deacon George Grave, a founder of Hartford, Conn.. He was born on 2 November 1886 in Sunderland, Vermont.^2,3 He was the son of Edmund Augustus Graves and Harriet Sargent Way.¹ Lewis Way Graves married Margaret Arletta Harmon, daughter of Charles Harmon and Mira Lotta Cargill, circa 1917.⁴

     Rachel Graves married George Grimshaw.¹

     Sarah Graves was born in 1726.¹ She married Moses Montague in 1748.¹ Sarah Graves died in 1812.¹

     Thomas Graves married Sybil Avery, daughter of Dr. Jonathan Avery and Sybil Sparhawk.¹

     Abigail H. Gray was born on 11 November 1777.¹ Abigail H. Gray was living in Newbury before her marriage. She married Joseph Sewall, son of Capt. Joseph Sewall and Mercy Sewall, on 22 September 1810 in Newbury, Massachusetts, (however Vital records of Newbury, Massachusetts to the end of the year 1849 give the date of marriage intention as Sept. 27, 1810).^1,2 Abigail H. Gray died on 19 June 1854 in York, Maine, at the age of 76 ¹ and is buried in South Side Cemetery, York Village, Maine.³

      Of Plymouth. Edward Gray married Mary Winslow, daughter of John Winslow and Mary Chilton, on 16 January 1651.¹ Edward Gray died in June 1681.¹

     Eleanor Baker Gray married Patrick Tracy Jackson, son of Patrick Tracy Jackson and Susan Mary Loring, in 1871.¹

     George Alexander Gray married Mary Fuller Braley.

     Louise Belinda Gray was born on 12 March 1884 in Old Town, Maine.¹ She was the daughter of George Alexander Gray and Mary Fuller Braley.¹ Louise Belinda Gray married James Wingate Sewall Jr., son of James Wingate Sewall and Harriet Sterling Moor, on 12 May 1908 in Old Town, Maine.²

     Lucy Gray was born on 18 July 1776.¹ She married William Payne, son of Deacon Edward Payne and Rebecca Amory, on 26 June 1803.¹ Lucy Gray died on 13 March 1809 at the age of 32.²

     Marion Gray was born on 3 June 1897 in Houghton, Michigan.¹ She was the daughter of William T. Gray and Emma Lavinia Sewell.¹ Marion Gray married Douglas Vivian, son of William Vivian and Annie Kitts, on 3 September 1919 in Houghton, Michigan.¹

     Olive Gray was born in 1730/31.¹ She married Nathan Woodman, son of Benjamin Woodman and Elizabeth Longfellow, in 1749.¹

     Palmer Sewell Gray was born on 13 August 1893 in Houghton, Michigan.¹ He was the son of William T. Gray and Emma Lavinia Sewell.¹ Palmer Sewell Gray died on 21 March 1950 in Grand Rapids, Michigan, at the age of 56.¹

     William T. Gray was born in 1862 in Syracuse, New York.¹ He was a a blacksmith.¹ He married Emma Lavinia Sewell, daughter of Frederick George Sewell and Jane Edwards, on 3 September 1890 in Houghton.¹ William T. Gray appears on the census of 1920 at Portage, Houghton, Michigan, he is of no occupation.² He died in March 1922 in Houghton, Michigan.¹

     Alverey Grazebrook was the son of John Grazebrook (Junior) of Stoke Hall and Isabel (Unknown). Alverey Grazebrook. Gentleman.² He married Margaret Keene, daughter of Thomas Keene and Margaret Gibbons. Alverey Grazebrook was living in Stoke Hall, Middleton, Warwickshire.¹ He made a will on 24 September 1575 which was proved at Lichfield, 7 March 1576.² He was buried in the church at Middleton.²

     Anne Grazebrook was the daughter of Alverey Grazebrook and Margaret Keene.¹ Anne Grazebrook married Thomas Roper of Heanor after 1575.^2,3

     John Grazebrook was the son of John Grazebrook (Junior) of Stoke Hall and Isabel (Unknown).¹ This John, though the eldest son, is not mentioned in his father's will of 1540 though he is co-executor of his mother's will. Star Chamber proceedings arose in 1552 because his mother had granted him a lease in contradiction of his father's will. His brother Alvery turned him out with violence. His name disappears from records after 1547. The catalogue entry STAC 2/18/211 at the National Archives indicates that the proceedings in fact cover the period 22 April 1509-28 January 1547.^1,2

     John Grazebrook (Junior) of Stoke Hall was the son of John Gresbrooke of Shenstone. John Grazebrook (Junior) of Stoke Hall married Isabel (Unknown). John Grazebrook (Junior) of Stoke Hall was living in Stoke Hall, Middleton, Warwickshire. He made a will on 26 May 1540 proved at Lichfield 1542. "to be buried yn the churchyerd of Middleton."¹

     Margaret Grazebrook is also recorded as Margaret Gresbrook and in some places as Greysbroke and even Greystoke.² She was born circa 1556.³ She was the daughter of Alverey Grazebrook and Margaret Keene.¹ Margaret Grazebrook married Henry Sewall, son of William Sewall and Matilda Horne, before September 1575.⁴ Margaret Grazebrook made a will in Coventry "Margaret Sewall of the city of Coventry aged three score and twelve years and upwards, 7 May 1628, proved 13 June 1632. To be buried in the Drapers chapel in the parish church of St. Michael near unto the body of my late husband there lately buried. To Richard Sewall my youngest son, and Anne Power, my daughter, wife to Anthony Power of Kenelworth gent., and to Margaret Randell now wife to Abraham Randell of the City of Coventry gent, one annuity or yearly rent charge of eleven pounds eight shillings issuing out of certain lands in Wytherley, Leicestershire, and Ansley, Warwickshire, and late in the tenure or occupation of Elizabeth Throckmorton &c. And I do forgive unto Henry Sewall, my eldest son, his offences wherein and whereby he hath sundry times offended me beseeching Almighty God to give him a heart to deal conscionably with his brother and sisters as he would be done to, unto whom I give, I mean to my said son Henry Sewall, twelve pence in money. The residue to Richard Sewall, my son, Anne Power, my daughter, and Margaret Randell, my daughter, trusting that they will lovingly live together in peace and unity all the days of their lives. They to be executors and loving friends Thomas Basnett of Coventry, mercer, and John Rogerson of the same city, draper, to be overseers.

She died in 1629. Administration of her estate was granted on 23 November 1629. She was buried in St. Michael's Church, Coventry.⁷
