     John Horne was the son of James Horne.² John Horne married Jane Charlotte Cassan, daughter of Matthew Cassan and Lucy Elizabeth Marshall, on 22 January 1878 in Fort William, Bengal, India. John Horne died before 1911.

      Deacon of the First Church, Salem.¹ Deacon John Horne was born circa 1602.² He married firstly Ann (Unknown).² Deacon John Horne married Frances Stone (widow Greene), daughter of Deacon Simon Stone and Joane Clark.¹ Deacon John Horne died in November 1684.²

     John Horne of Childs Ercall was the son of Reginald Horne of Pickesley and Margery Lee. On 10 March 1558 there was an agreement made between John Horn of Stoke in the county of the city of Coventry, gentleman, and his son and heir apparent Reginald Horne, of the one part, and the Mayor bailiffs and community of the city of Coventry, of the other part, whereby, in consideration of a sum of 80L paid to them, and for the relief of the poor of the said city, and for the repair and maintenance of a hospital called Bablake within the same city, the said John Horne and Reginald Horne granted and sold for ever all the lordship and manor of Stoke aforesaid, with all the messuages, rights, privileges and appurtenances of the same manor, to the aforesaid Mayor bailiffs and community.²

     John Horne of Stoke was the son of William Horne and Jane Adonaye [Adeney?]. John Horne of Stoke married Marjory Morton, daughter of Thomas Morton and Juliana Botiler. 7 James I., July 15th (1609).—Letters Patent of a grant for ever by James the First (made in consideration of payment of £100) to Edward Stapleton esq., Henry Sewall of Coventrie, draper, and Humfrey Wightwick of the same city, grocer, and their heirs and assigns, of the Almshouse in Bablacke built by Thomas Bonde and the chapel and chamber adjoining the same Almshouse, and of a close of pasture called Hickfield in Coundon co. Warwick, and of lands, tenements and rents &c. in Old Fillonghley, New Fillonghley. Alspade and Merelbrookes co. Warwick, and of a messuage called the Moat House in Spoonestreete (sic) in Coventrie, and of divers other lands and tenements &c. in Coventrie and elsewhere.¹

     Matilda Horne was the daughter of Reginald Horne of Pickesley and Margery Lee.² Matilda Horne married William Sewall in 1540 or possibly earlier.^3,4,5

     Reginald Horne of Pickesley was the son of John Horne of Stoke and Marjory Morton. The arms of Horne of Little Ercall & Pikesley are recorded as follows: 1st. gu. a fesse vairee. 2nd. sa. a bend between 6 martlets or. (Willascot.) 3rd. arg. a chevron gu. between three square buckles sa. points down sa. (Moorton.) 4th. az. a chevron between three water bougets or. (Woodcot.) 5th. sa. three mullets 2 & 1 arg. (Puleston.) 6th. as first.² Reginald Horne of Pickesley married Margery Lee, daughter of (?) Lee of Whitchurch.¹

     Susan Rivington Van Horne was born in 1812.¹ She married Gerard Stuyvesant, son of Nicholas William Stuyvesant and Catharine Livingston Reade.¹ Susan Rivington Van Horne died in 1889.¹

     William Horne was the son of William Horne and Joan Wilascot. William Horne married Jane Adonaye [Adeney?], daughter of (unknown) Adonaye [Adeney?]. Probably the William Horne here mentioned "On October 15, 1474, John Abbot of Haghmon demises to William son of William Horne, late of Childes-Ercal, the Grange of Naginton with three parcels of land within the demesne of Howle for 60 years, reserving a rent of 22s. and Suit of the Abbot's Court at Downton."¹

      Whereas by an inquisition taken virtute officii before Ralph Lee, late escheator in the county of Salop, it was found that John Hordeley, late of Shrewsbury, was seised of the manor of Hordelay and granted the same to William Walford and Thomas More,chaplains, and their heirs and assigns for over, by collusion between John Hampton, late abbot of the church of St. Peter, Shrewsbury, and the said William and Thomas, for the use of the said abbot and church, contrary to the statute of mortmain of Richard 11; and afterwards at the suit of Richard, son of Richard Lakyn, knight, John Sainford, William Wollascot of Weston, John Walker, John Shanbery, clerk, and Thomas Walker the younger, complaining that whereas Matthew Hordeley was seised of the said manor and granted the same to John lHowell, vicar of the church of Grysford, and John Houghton of Elesmere, chaplain, and their heirs and assigns for ever, and they were seised thereof until they died without heir; after whoso death the manor descended to Joan Fenymer, wife of William Fenymer, as kinswoman and heir of the said John Houghton, being daughter of Mabel, his sister, and William and Joan were seised and enfeoffed thereof the said Richard, son of Richard Lakyn, John Samford, William Wollascot, John Walker, John Shanbery and Thomas Walker,and their heirs and assigns for ever, and they were seised thereof, until by colour of the said inquisition and letters patent to Thomas Walker dated 10 February in the sixteenth year touching the keeping of the manor they were unjustly expelled, although the said John Hordeley had not granted the same to William Walford and Thomas More, as is supposed by. William Horne married Joan Wilascot, daughter of (unkown) Wilascot of Salop and (unknown) Lee of Langley.

     William Horne was the son of John Horne of Stoke and Marjory Morton.^1,2 In 1502 William Horne, son of Margery, sister of Robert, son of Thomas, son of John Moreton and Elizabeth, his wife. v.      Winifred Horne was the daughter of Reginald Horne of Pickesley and Margery Lee. Winifred Horne married Matthew Dorrington.

     Elizabeth Horrocks married Rev. John Cotton, son of Roland Cotton and Mary Hulbert, say 1610 there were no children of this marriage. Elizabeth Horrocks died circa 1631 in Boston, Lincolnshire, England.¹

     Hawes Horsepool married Francis Dorrington, son of Matthew Dorrington and Winifred Horne.

     Muriel Horsey was the daughter of Elizabeth Saltonstall.¹

     Isabel Horsley married Frederick Hart, son of William Hamilton Hart and Fanny Lloyd.

     Ella Campbell Horton was born on 10 November 1907 in Houston, Texas.² She was the daughter of George Frederick Jr. Horton and Sarah Ella (Sallie) Sewall.¹ Ella Campbell Horton married Lynn G. Howell.¹ Ella Campbell Horton died in November 1975 in Houston, Texas.³

     George Horton married Albertina Kaapke.¹

     George Frederick III Horton was born on 17 January 1913. He was the son of George Frederick Jr. Horton and Sarah Ella (Sallie) Sewall. George Frederick III Horton married Ray June Schmidt on 9 June 1945.¹ George Frederick III Horton died on 11 June 1999 at the age of 86.

     George Frederick Jr. Horton was born on 24 September 1881 in Texana, Jackson County, Texas.² He was the son of George Horton and Albertina Kaapke.² George Frederick Jr. Horton married Sarah Ella (Sallie) Sewall, daughter of Edward Wailes Sewall and Gabriella Harriet (Ella) Campbell, on 27 November 1906 in Houston, Texas.^1,2 George Frederick Jr. Horton died on 2 August 1944 in Houston, Texas, at the age of 62.²

     Florence Gross Horwitz was born on 2 October 1862 in Philadelphia.² She was the daughter of Orville Horwitz and Maria Rives Gross.¹ Florence Gross Horwitz married Edward Key, son of Philip Barton Key Jr. and Maria Laura Sewall, in Baltimore, Maryland.¹

     Orville Horwitz married Maria Rives Gross.¹

     Ann Eliza Hosie was born in 1805.¹ She married Schuyler Livingston, son of Schuyler Livingston and Elizabeth Barclay, in 1830.¹ Ann Eliza Hosie died in 1838.¹

     Elizabeth Houchin married secondly James Allen on 31 August 1668 at Boston.¹

     Elizabeth Hough was the daughter of Rev. Samuel Hough.¹ Elizabeth Hough married firstly Obadiah Walker before 1676.¹ Elizabeth Hough married Ephraim Savage, son of Major Thomas Savage and Faith Hutchinson, on 26 February 1677/78 in Boston ?¹ Elizabeth Hough died in 1687.¹

     Alice May Houghton was born circa 1878 in California.¹ She was the daughter of S. Chase Houghton and May Sophie Sewall.¹

     Carina Ellen Houghton. Church organist. She was born circa 1854 in New York.¹ She was the daughter of Ellen A. (Unknown).¹ Carina Ellen Houghton married Walter Devereux Sewall, son of Henry Devereaux Sewall and Mary Catherine Norton, on 6 May 1875.² Carina Ellen Houghton and Walter Devereux Sewall appear on the census of 16 April 1910 at New York City, where Walter is described as an accountant (he had appeared in an earlier census as a book keeper), Carina is a music teacher and Frank is a draftsman in a construction company.³

     Marcia Houghton was born on 20 May 1860 in Bath, Maine.^1,2 She was the daughter of Silas Amory Houghton and Lucy Ann Jewell.¹ Marcia Houghton married Samuel Swanton Sewall, son of Edward Sewall and Sarah Elizabeth Swanton, on 15 November 1883 in Bath, Sagadahoc, Maine.³ Marcia Houghton died on 9 February 1924 in Bath, Maine, at the age of 63 ^1,4 and is buried in Oak Grove Cemetery, Bath.⁴

     S. Chase Houghton married May Sophie Sewall, daughter of Henry Sewall and Harriet Virginia Smith, in 1877 in California.^1,2
