     Clara Leavitt James was the daughter of Herbert Llewllyn James and Ann Francis Leavitt.¹ Clara Leavitt James died in infancy.¹

     Donald Robertson James was born on 6 July 1905.¹ He was the son of Howard Kellog James and Martha Meserole.¹ Donald Robertson James died in August 1977 probably in Pleasant Hill, California, at the age of 72.²

     Herbert Llewllyn James was born on 13 January 1842 in Willington, Connecticut.¹ He married firstly Ann Francis Leavitt, daughter of Caleb Leavitt and Delina Robertson, on 10 October 1865.¹ Herbert Llewllyn James died on 20 February 1920 at the age of 78.¹

     Howard Kellog James. Attorney-at-Law.² He was born on 20 July 1867 in East Windsor, Connecticut.^1,2 He was the son of Herbert Llewllyn James and Ann Francis Leavitt.¹ Howard Kellog James married Martha Meserole, daughter of George Frost Meserole, on 23 March 1897.²

     John Hough James. Lawyer.¹ He was born circa 1870 in Ohio.¹ He married Alice Archer Sewall, daughter of Rev. Dr. Frank Sewall and Thedia Redelia Gilchrist, on 14 June 1894.²

     Mary Francis James was the daughter of Herbert Llewllyn James and Ann Francis Leavitt.¹ Mary Francis James died in infancy.¹

     Richard Leavitt James was born on 21 April 1898.¹ He was the son of Howard Kellog James and Martha Meserole.¹

     Jane Elizabeth Jamieson was born in 1820.¹ She married Thomas Hamilton Oliver. Jane Elizabeth Jamieson died in 1874.¹

     John Jamieson married secondly Jane Ann Sewell, daughter of Stephen Sewell K.C. and Jane Caldwell, on 25 July 1839 in Christ's Church, Montreal, Rev. Henry D. Sewell officiated. The marriage bond dated 23 July 1839.² John Jamieson died before 1849.

     Theodore Caldwell Janeway graduated in 1949 from Yale.² He is possibly the Theodore Caldwell Janeway who died in October 1968.³

     Helena Jansen married John McPhaedres.¹

     Sarah Roeloffse Janz was born in 1626. She was the daughter of Annake Jans. Sarah Roeloffse Janz married Dr. Hans Kierstede in 1642. Sarah Roeloffse Janz died in 1693.

     Sarah Jaques married John Hale, son of Sgt. John Hale and Rebecca Lowell, on 16 October 1683 in Newbury, Massachusetts.²

     Evelyn Stella Jardine married Sir Donald Charles Cameron KCMG, DSO, son of John Cameron and Sarah Annie Lodge, on 18 February 1914 in St. John's Anglican Cathedral, Brisbane.² Evelyn Stella Jardine died circa 1959 in Brisbane.³

     Ann Ellen Jarvis was born on 30 October 1825.¹ She was the daughter of Colonel Samuel Peters Jarvis and Mary Boyles Powell.¹ Ann Ellen Jarvis married Lucius Fitzgerald Bernard on 25 August 1846.¹ Ann Ellen Jarvis died on 12 October 1862 at the age of 36.¹

     Anne Frances Jarvis was born on 4 May 1830.¹ She was the daughter of William Botsford Jarvis and Mary Boyles Powell.¹ Anne Frances Jarvis married Edmund Allan Meredith in July 1851 in Toronto (the Rev. J.G.O. McKenzie officiated).¹

     Annie Elizabeth Stewart Jarvis was the daughter of George Murray Jarvis and Elizabeth Arnold Jarvis.¹

     Arthur Leonard Fitzgerald Jarvis was born on 17 June 1852.¹ He was the son of George Murray Jarvis and Elizabeth Arnold Jarvis.¹

     Augusta Louisa Jarvis was the daughter of William Dummer Powell Jarvis and Diana Irving.¹ Augusta Louisa Jarvis married Thomas Ward Wilson, son of Rev. Edward Wilson.¹

     Augusta Louisa Jarvis was born on 13 June 1896 in Oakville. She was the daughter of Edward Æmilius Jarvis and Elizabeth Margaret Harriet Augusta Irving.¹

     Bertha Margaret Jarvis was born on 18 July 1890 in Hamilton, Ontario.² She was the daughter of Edward Æmilius Jarvis and Elizabeth Margaret Harriet Augusta Irving.¹

     Dr. Charles Jarvis married Mary Pepperrell Sparhawk, daughter of Col. Nathaniel Sparhawk and Elizabeth Pepperell.¹ Dr. Charles Jarvis was born before 1815.²

     Edward Æmilius Jarvis was born on 25 April 1860 in Bonshaw, Ontario.^1,2 He was the son of William Dummer Powell Jarvis and Diana Irving.¹ Edward Æmilius Jarvis married Elizabeth Margaret Harriet Augusta Irving, daughter of Sir Æmilius Irving Q.C. and Augusta Louisa Gugy, in 1886.² In 1907 Edward Æmilius Jarvis and Elizabeth Margaret Harriet Augusta Irving was living in 34 Prince Arthur Avenue, Toronto.² Edward Æmilius Jarvis. Banker for 20 years in the service of the Bank of Hamilton and latterly Inspector of the Traders Banks of Canada, Toronto. Since then head
of the firm of Æmilius Jarvis & Co., Bankers and investment Brokers, Toronto; President of the Canadian Locomotive Company, Limited;
Vice-President of the British Columbia Packers Association; a Director in many other Companies, Commodore of the Royal Canadian Yacht
Club, which office he has held for many years.
