     Dorothy Sewall Hector was born on 28 December 1918 in Fargo, North Dakota.2 She was the daughter of Frederick Martin Hector and Margaret Sewall.1 Dorothy Sewall Hector died on 1 March 2010 in Bethany Retirement Living, Fargo, North Dakota, at the age of 91.2
Dorothy was born December 28, 1918, in Fargo, ND, to Fred and Margaret (Sewall) Hector. She attended Fargo Central High School, Pine Manor Junior college, and Southern Methodist University, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in Music Education. Her community activities included the Fargo-Moorhead Music Club, PEO, and the former Junior Service League. Dorothy was a flight attendant for Northwest Orient Airlines, one of the first flight attendants not required to have a nursing degree. She had a long history of hospital volunteer service at Dakota Clinic. She showed her miniature Schnauzer across the country and won best in show in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Her greatest love was music, particularly playing her piano. She performed annually in a piano quartet of the F-M Music Club for 30 years.
Survivors include her daughter, Dolly (Dennis) Fisher, Fargo; her sister, Caroline Dady, Fargo; and a brother, Fred (Earlyne) Hector, Fargo. She had four grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Mary Smith and Peggy Harrington; and nephews, Clay and Martin Hector.3

Frederick Martin Hector married Margaret Sewall, daughter of William Dunning Sewall and Mary Loke Sumner, on 23 May 1914 in Bath, Maine.4 Frederick Martin Hector died on 25 June 1939 in Fargo, North Dakota, at the age of 53 from complications following an emergency appendectomy5,6 and is buried in Riverside Cemetery, Fargo, North Dakota.7

     Rev. Edgar Laing Heermance was born on 30 April 1833.1 He was the son of Rev. Henry Heermance and Catharine Laing.1 Rev. Edgar Laing Heermance graduated in 1858 from Yale and from the New Haven Theological Seminary in 1861. He becam pastor of the Dutch Reformed Church at Castleton, Rensselaer County, New York (1861-69). He then lived in New Haven and in 1874 he settled in the ministry at White Plains, New York.1 He married Agnes Woolsey, daughter of Theodore Dwight Woolsey and Elizabeth Martha Salisbury, on 14 May 1863.1
