     Mary Hirst was born on 31 January 1703/4.1,2 She was the daughter of Grove Hirst and Elizabeth Sewall.1 Mary Hirst married Sir William Pepperrell, son of Lt. Col. Wiliam Pepperrell and Margery Bray, on 21 February 1722/23 by Judge Sewall. (16 Mar 1723/24 according to Titcomb p. 265).2 Mary Hirst died on 25 November 1789 in Kittery, Maine, at the age of 85.2
