     Elizabeth Quincy Sewall was born on 5 July 1865 in Minnesota.^2,3 She was the daughter of Joseph Sewall Sewall and Mary Vashon Wright.¹ Elizabeth Quincy Sewall married Phillip Green Wright, son of John Seward Wright and Mary Clark Green, on 7 February 1889 in Medford, Massachusetts.⁴ Elizabeth Quincy Sewall died in 1952.¹

Unmarried and living with her father and two sisters.⁴ She died after 1910 in Medfield, Norfolk County, Massachusetts.

     Elizabeth Shelia Sewall was born on 7 November 1932 in Minnesota.² She was the daughter of Samuel L. Sewall.¹ Elizabeth Shelia Sewall died on 25 September 1966 in San Francisco, California, at the age of 33.²

     Elizabeth Truffant Sewall was born on 16 October 1878 in Urbana, Ohio.^1,3 She was the daughter of Rev. Dr. Frank Sewall and Thedia Redelia Gilchrist.² Elizabeth Truffant Sewall married Francis Forester Schellenberg on 30 January 1907 in the Church of the New Jerusalem, Washington, D.C..⁴ Elizabeth Truffant Sewall and Francis Forester Schellenberg appear on the census of 1930 at Lomita, Los Angeles, California.⁴ Elizabeth Truffant Sewall was living at Palos Verdes Estates, California, on 22 August 1965 at the time of her sister Rachel's death.⁵

     Ella Sewall was born on 5 October 1859.¹ She was the daughter of Dr. Francis Lewis Sewall and Ann Amelia DuBose.¹ A Ella Sewall appears on the census of 21 April 1910 at Jackson Village, Clarke, Alabama, she is 50 and described as a companion to Lillian B. and Will. E. Johnson.² She died in 1936 ³ and is buried in Pine Crest Cemetery, Jackson, Alabama.³

     Ella Sewall was born on 3 October 1874.¹ She was the daughter of Edward Wailes Sewall and Sallie Singleton Campbell.¹ Ella Sewall died on 25 October 1875 in Texas at the age of 1 ² and is buried in Old Waverly Cemetery, New Waverly, Walker County, Texas.³

     Ellen Day Sewall was born on 21 March 1841 in Alabama.^1,2 She was the daughter of Kiah Bayley Sewall and Lucretia Day.¹ Ellen Day Sewall died on 6 November 1872 at the age of 31.¹

Edmund Quincy Sewall and Caroline Ward.² The girl that John and Henry Thoreau both fell in love with.³ Ellen Devereux Sewall married Rev. Joseph Osgood, son of Joseph Otis Osgood and Elizabeth Fogg, on 20 May 1844 in Scituate, Massachusetts, the service was conducted by the bride's father.^3,5 Ellen Devereux Sewall died on 8 December 1892 in Cohasset, Massachusetts, at the age of 70.¹

     Elmer Carroll Sewall was unfortunate enough to be recorded as Eleanor C. Sewall in the 1850 census.² Boots and shoes merchant in Indiana.³ He was born on 21 May 1848 in Chesterville, Franklin County, Maine.^1,4 He was the son of Deacon Calvin Davenport Sewall and Eliza Mayhew.¹ Elmer Carroll Sewall married Lucy A. Fitch on 31 October 1876 in Marion County, Indiana.⁵ Elmer Carroll Sewall and Lucy A. Fitch appear on the census of 1880 at Indianapolis, Indiana, where his occupation is listed as commercial traveler.⁶ In 1920 Elmer Carroll Sewall was living in Plainfield, Indiana, by which time he had become a farmer.^1,7 He and Lucy A. Fitch appear on the census of 1930 at Guilford, Hendricks County, Indiana, where again he is listed as a farmer.⁸ Elmer Carroll Sewall died in 1935 in Indiana ⁹ and is buried in Crown Hill Cemetery, Marion County, Indiana.⁹

     Elmina A. Sewall was born circa 8 November 1855. She was the daughter of John Jenks Sewall and Lois Anne Littebrant. Elmina A. Sewall died on 19 November 1859. She was buried in Barry Cemetery, Fairmount Township, Pike County, Illinois.¹

     Emeline Sewall was born on 25 October 1801.¹ She was the daughter of Nathaniel Sewall and Hannah Moore.¹ The marriage intention of Emeline Sewall and Theodore Parsons Jr. was published on 6 November 1851 in York, Maine.² Emeline Sewall died on 10 August 1882 in York, Maine, at the age of 80.^1,3

     Emeline Eliza Sewall was born on 1 August 1822 in Edgecomb, Maine.² She was the daughter of Rufus K. Sewall and Phoebe Merrill.¹ Emeline Eliza Sewall was living in Bath, Maine.³ She married James Monroe Knight on 26 October 1845.⁴ Emeline Eliza Sewallpossibly died on 2 August 1922 at the age of 100.⁴

     Emeline Henry Sewall was born on 16 October 1807.¹ She was the daughter of David Sewall and Elizabeth Crosby.¹ Emeline Henry Sewall married Rev. David Quimby Cushman on 13 February 1838 in Bath, Sagadahoc, Maine, (marriage intention 5 December 1837, Mendon).^3,4 Emeline Henry Sewall died on 27 March 1886 at the age of 78.²

     Emeline Whitehurst Sewall was born on 27 September 1852 in Maine.¹ She was the daughter of Rev. Rufus King Sewall and Anne Elizabeth Whitehurst.¹ Emeline Whitehurst Sewall married John O'Brien on 14 June 1879.¹

     Emily Ann Sewall was born on 15 July 1848 in York, Maine.¹ She was the daughter of Capt. Joseph Sewall and Eliza Jane Trafton.¹ Emily Ann Sewall married Sidney I. Winn on 3 January 1874.²

     Emily Chapman Sewall was born on 26 February 1840 in Rockport, Massachusetts.⁴ She was the daughter of Levi Sewall and Mary Ann Robards.³ Emily Chapman Sewall married George Richard Bradford, son of Richard Bradford and Mary Stimson, on 18 June 1865 in Rockport.^5,6

     Emma Catherine Sewall was born on 29 May 1841.² She was the daughter of Joseph Sewall and Catherine Jones Shaw.² Emma Catherine Sewall died on 24 August 1863 at the age of 22 (1862 shows on the gravestone).²
