     Jenny Sewall was born on 9 August 1795 in Chesterville, Franklin County, Maine.^2,3 She was the daughter of Rev. Jotham Sewall and Jenny Sewall.¹ Jenny Sewall died on 21 August 1796 in Chesterville, Franklin County, Maine, at the age of 1.^2,3

     Jenny Dummer Sewall was born on 3 July 1798 in Chesterville, Franklin County, Maine.⁴ She was the daughter of Dummer Sewall and Jenny Dunning.³ Jenny Dummer Sewall died on 12 August 1871 in Sharon, Massachusetts, at the age of 73 unmarried,¹ and is buried in Dry Pond Cemetery, Stoughton, Massachusetts.²

     Jeremiah N. Sewall was born circa 1852 in New Jersey.¹ He was the son of Gilbert Tennant Sewall and Abbie W. Riley.¹

     Jeremiah Noyes Sewall was born on 13 October 1808.¹ He was the son of James Sewall and Lucy Noyes.¹ Jeremiah Noyes Sewall died on 11 April 1884 in Hahnemann Hospital, New York, at the age of 75 he had been ill for some time having had a stroke.
He came to New York in about 1839 and he ultimately became a broker. At one time he had considerable wealth, but he suffered continued losses, and he gradually lost his means. For the past few years he has been employed in the office of the Surveyor of the Port. He was a member of the Union League Club and of the New England Society. He leaves a widow but no children.² The funeral of Jeremiah Noyes Sewall took place on 14 April 1884 at St. Ann's Episcopal Church, West 18th St., New York.³

John Sewall was baptised on 22 November 1654 by Mr. Henry Cox, Minister of Bishop Stoke, in his father's house.^4,5 He emigrated in 1661 "came to Newbury from England."² He married Hannah Fessenden, daughter of John Fessenden, on 27 October 1674 in Cambridge, Massachusetts, the marriage was conducted by Mr. Danforth.^6,7 John Sewall died on 8 August 1699 in Newbury at the age of 44.⁸ He was buried in Newbury Burying ground, near his father.²

     Dr. John Gallison Sewall was born on 2 November 1822 in Watertown, Jefferson County, New York.² He was the son of Henry Devereaux Sewall and Mary Catherine Norton.¹ Dr. John Gallison Sewall graduated in 1847 from Harvard M.D. He married Joanna White Gannett, daughter of Thomas Brattle Gannett, on 22 June 1853 in Natick, Massachusetts.³ Dr. John Gallison Sewall died on 18 January 1874 in New York City at the age of 51 (Sinnett gives 24 January 1874).^4,5
