     Marion Ruth Sewell was born on 15 April 1855 in Quebec.³ She was the daughter of Sheriff William Smith Sewell and Lavinia Marian Griffin.² Marion Ruth Sewell was baptised on 14 May 1855 in the Chapel of the Holy Trinity privately by E.W. Sewell.³ She married John Glanville Billett, son of J.H. Billett, on 28 November 1876 in Quebec the service was conducted by the Rev. George V. Housman, Rector of Quebec.¹ Marion Ruth Sewell died on 19 May 1898 at the age of 43 s.p.⁴ She was buried on 21 May 1898 in Mount Hermon Cemetery, Quebec,, funeral from 16 Des Grissons Street to St. Matthew's Church.⁵

     Marjorie Sewell was born circa 1883 in Quebec.² She was the daughter of Langley Sewell and Emily Jane Davis.¹ Marjorie Sewell married Frank Seddon Evans, son of Charles Evans and Alman Seddon, on 5 June 1907 in Toronto, York.³

     Martha Genevieve Sewell was born on 19 February 1922 in Great Falls, Montana.¹ She was the daughter of James Courtney Sewell and Hildegarde Cecilia Pings.¹ Martha Genevieve Sewell married John Elmer Wadsworth on 17 April 1940 in Geyser, Montana.¹ Martha Genevieve Sewell died on 30 December 1967 in Cascade County, Montana, at the age of 45.²

     Mary Sewell was born on 24 June 1809 in Montreal.² She was the daughter of Stephen Sewell K.C. and Jane Caldwell.¹ Mary Sewell was baptised on 29 July 1809 at Christ Church Cathedral, Montreal.² She married Charles Jones, son of Col. Arthur Jones C.B., on 7 November 1838 in Toronto Rev. H.J. Grassett officiated. In the notice of the marriage the groom is described as being late of the 27th Regt.³ Mary Sewell died on 8 May 1875 in Toronto, Ontario, at the age of 65.⁴

     Mary Georgina Sewell was born on 6 November 1827 in Canada.³ She was the daughter of Sheriff William Smith Sewell and Mary Isabella Smith.¹ Mary Georgina Sewell was baptised on 13 December 1827 at Chapel of the Holy Trinity, Quebec, by E.W. Sewell, deacon.³ She married John Bonner, son of John Bonner and Sarah Noyes, on 25 May 1854 in Quebec they also appear to have marriedin New York City on 29 May 1854.^4,5 Mary Georgina Sewell died on 16 June 1898 in San Francisco, California, at the age of 70 the obituary notice calls her Mary Georgianna.⁶

     Mary H. Sewell was born in June 1907 in Ontario.¹ She was the daughter of Colin James Sewell and Robina Buchan Blackburn.¹

     Mary Patterson Sewell was born on 17 October 1874.² She was the daughter of Edmund William Leveson Sewell and Mary Elizabeth Angelica Hall.¹ Mary Patterson Sewell was baptised on 16 November 1874 at Holy Trinity, Quebec, by Rev. George V. Housman. The godparents were: Mary Hall, Florence De Quincy Sewell and George B. Hall.² She died on 24 September 1883 in Rivière-Trois-Pistoles at the age of 8.³ She was buried on 26 September 1883 in Quebec, by George V. Houseman.³

     Mary Patterson Sewell was born on 19 April 1915 in Los Angeles, California.² She was the daughter of John Edward Taylor Sewell and Emma Mae Ricker.¹ Mary Patterson Sewell was living at Victorville, California, in 1938.¹ She died on 22 April 1984 probably in Victorville, San Bernardino, California, at the age of 69.^3,4

     Maude Lavinia Sewell was born on 4 April 1848 in Quebec.¹ She was the daughter of Sheriff William Smith Sewell and Lavinia Marian Griffin.² Maude Lavinia Sewell was baptised on 12 June 1848 at Chapel of the Holy Trinity, Quebec.¹ She married Lt. Colonel Henry Burton Winter, son of James Winter, on 11 July 1867 in Quebec the service being conducted by the Rev. E.W. Sewell, uncle of the bride.^3,4 Maude Lavinia Sewell and Lt. Colonel Henry Burton Winter appeared in the 1881 census at 7 Bulstrode Terrace, Heston, Middlesex. Henry Winter is listed as Captain, 7th Royal Fusiliers. There is no record in this census entry of any children living with them.⁵ Maude's death was registered in the quarter ending June 1882 in the Lambeth, London registration district.⁶

     Maude Livingstone Sewell was born on 15 April 1881 in Quebec.⁴ She was the daughter of Edward Le Mesurier Sewell and Emily Eliza Housman.^2,3 Maude Livingstone Sewell was baptised on 23 May 1881 at Holy Trinity, Quebec.⁵ She married Cecil Carlisle Pangman on 19 September 1905 in Cathedral of the Holy Trinity, Quebec, by the Dean.⁶ Maude Livingstone Sewell and Cecil Carlisle Pangman appear on the census of 1930 at St. Louis, Missouri. Maude Livingstone Sewell was living in 1946.³

     May Livingstone Sewell's birth was registered in the quarter ending March 1877 in the Hollingbourne, Kent registration district.¹ She was the daughter of Rev. Henry Doyle Sewell M.A. and Edith Pierce Morgan. May Livingstone Sewell was baptised on 13 February 1877 at the Parish Church, Headcorn, Kent.² She married John Cowper Knocker, son of Edward Newman Knocker and Emily Elizabeth Knocker, on 22 February 1896 in Holy Trinity Church, Tunbridge Wells, Kent, the ceremony was contucted by the Rev. Joseph Lanphier, assisted by the Rev. H.C. Knocker, brother of the bridegroom, and the Rev. D. Stather Hunt, Vicar.³ May Livingstone Sewell and John Cowper Knocker appear on the census of 1901 living at Simla House, Dry Hill Park Road, Tonbridge. John Knocker's profession is given as that of solicitor. The census also records three servants. Ann Funnell, nurse aged 23; Katherine S. Crowhurst, cook, 24 and Laura M. Meren, house parlourmaid, 19. May Livingstone Sewell died on 6 May 1961 at 14 St. Andrews Park Road, Southborough, at the age of 84 after a short illness.⁴ She was buried on 11 May 1961 in Southborough Cemetery.⁴

     Montague Carl Sewell is also recorded as Montague Charles Sewell.¹ He was born on 29 April 1895 in Portneuf, Quebec.^2,3 He was the son of Carl De Lindenburgh Sewell and Grace Eyre Ford.¹ Montague Carl Sewell was baptised on 29 June 1895 at Quebec.³ He married Bernice Alberta Hunting, daughter of William Herbert Hunting and Emily Ella Ford, on 30 August 1933 in the Universalist Church, Huntingville, Quebec.⁴ He was a forester at the time of his marriage.⁴ Montague Carl Sewell died on 22 October 1961 in Jeffrey Hale's Hospital, Quebec, at the age of 66 ¹ and was buried in Portneuf English (Ford) Cemetery, after a funeral service at St. John's Church.^1,5

     Montague Charles Sewell was born on 24 August 1812 in Quebec.¹ He was the son of Chief Justice Jonathan/3 Sewell and Henrietta Smith.² Montague Charles Sewell was baptised on 3 January 1813 at Quebec by Salter Jehosaphat Mountain.¹ He married Charlotte Elizabeth Mary Bowles Wolff, daughter of Lt. Col. Alexander Joseph Wolff and Hannah Maria Ellert, on 10 June 1850 in Chapel of the Holy Trinity, Quebec.³ He was one of the Justices of the Peace for the district of Quebec.⁴ Montague Charles Sewell died on 28 February 1859 in Little River, Quebec, at the age of 46.^5,4 He was buried on 3 March 1859 in Christ Church Anglican Cemetery, Valcartier, Quebec.^4,6

     Olive Marjorie Cassan Sewell was born on 3 January 1919.¹ She was the daughter of Algernon Percy Sewell and Caroline Winifred Horne. Olive's death was registered in the quarter ending March 1992 in the Canterbury, Kent registration district.¹

     Patricia Elizabeth Sewell was born on 19 March 1955.¹ She died on 14 September 1993 in Atlanta, Georgia, at the age of 38 snp.¹

     Reginald Lambton Sewell was born on 10 October 1853 in Quebec.² He was the son of Dr. James Arthur Sewell and Jane Beswick.¹ Reginald Lambton Sewell was baptised on 25 April 1854 at Chapel of the Holy Trinity by E.W. Sewell.² He married Clara Ann Henderson, daughter of Lawrence Henry Henderson, on 18 January 1889 in St. John's Church, Belleville, Ontario.^3,4 Reginald Lambton Sewell died on 14 November 1902 in Rockwood Hospital at the age of 49 of general paresis.⁵
Sewell - Captain Reginald Lambton Sewell of Belleville, Ont., died in that city on Nov. 14, at the age of 51 years. He was teller in the Bank of Montreal in Perth about 25 years ago, and was a popular official with business men during his stay here. He was a member of the Perth Cricket Club in those days and was the best bowler in the Ottawa Valley, his round-arm delivery being straight and swift. He was an uncle of Mr. C. J. Sewell, Manager of the Sovereign Bank, here. A despatch from Belleville, died Nov. 15 gives the following additonal particulars: "By the death of Captain R.L. Sewell last night, Belleville lost one of its best known and respected citizens. Deceased was a son of the late Dr. Jas. A. Sewell of Quebec, and was born in the City of Quebec fifty years ago. Captain Sewell was a veteran of the North-West Rebellion, having served as captain with Colonel Williams. He was at the Battle of Fish Creek, where his company lost heavily. Deceased was formerly teller of the Bank of Montreal in this city, being transferred to Winnipeg. Later he returned to this city to live, and married Mrs. Charles Bell, daughter of the late city treasurer, who, with three children survive him. Perth Courier, Nov. 21, 1902.⁶

     Reginald Lambton Sewell was born on 29 January 1896 in Belleville, Ontario.^2,3 He was the son of Reginald Lambton Sewell and Clara Ann Henderson.¹ Reginald Lambton Sewell died s.n.p.¹

     Reginald Treveylian Montague Sewell is also recorded as Montague Sewell Jr. Farmer of Portneuf. He was born on 18 December 1854 in Quebec, Province of Quebec.² He was the son of Montague Charles Sewell and Charlotte Elizabeth Mary Bowles Wolff.¹ Reginald Treveylian Montague Sewell married Ada Elizabeth Neilson, daughter of Samuel Neilson and Elizabeth Brown, on 24 March 1886 at the home of the bride's grandfather, William Neilson, Belvidere Road, by Rev. William Clark.¹ Reginald Treveylian Montague Sewell died on 25 January 1938 at the age of 83 ³ and is buried in Christ Church Anglican Cemetery, Valcartier.³

     Richard Sewell was born in April 1864 in Houghton, Michigan.¹ He was the son of Frederick George Sewell and Jane Edwards.¹ Richard Sewell died on 7 August 1864 in Houghton, Michigan.¹

     Lt. Cdr. Richard Crombie Sewell was born on 5 March 1911 at 2 Ormskirk, Alexandra Gardens, Belfast, Northern Ireland.¹ He was the son of Colonel Evelyn Pierce Sewell C.M.G., D.S.O., M.B., BCh., F.R.C.S. and Zébée Maud Jessie Crombie. Lt. Cdr. Richard Crombie Sewell married firstly Joyce Best Dean, daughter of George Best Dean and Marie Amelia Dunne, on 12 April 1941 in St. Philip's Church, Sydney, New South Wales. Lt. Cdr. Richard Crombie Sewell married secondly Paula Dorset in 1977 in Worthing, Sussex. Lt. Cdr. Richard Crombie Sewell died on 24 March 1998 in Portsmouth, Hampshire, at the age of 87. The funeral of Lt. Cdr. Richard Crombie Sewell took place at St. Edmund's, Crafton, Stibbington, Hampshire, the service of committal was held at Porchester Crematorium.

     Robert Charles Hope Sewell was born on 12 August 1902 in Toronto, Ontario.² He was the son of Colin James Sewell and Robina Buchan Blackburn.³

     Robert George Sewell was born on 5 January 1918. He was the son of Henry Charles de Quincy Sewell and Ida Mary Newdick.^1,2 Robert George Sewell married Margueretta Mae Lumley, daughter of James Henry Lumley and Margueretta Furse, on 3 July 1942.² Robert George Sewell died on 4 April 2009 at the age of 91.

      He was a advocate.¹ Robert Shore Milnes Sewell was born on 30 December 1802 in Quebec.² He was the son of Chief Justice Jonathan/3 Sewell and Henrietta Smith. Robert Shore Milnes Sewell was baptised on 13 January 1803 at Quebec.² He married Louisa Janet Smith, daughter of Hon. William G. Smith and Susannah Webber, on 19 June 1830 in Holy Trinity Church, Quebec, by the bishop of Quebec.³ Robert Shore Milnes Sewell died on 9 May 1834 in Quebec at the age of 31 of cholera.⁴ He was buried on 11 May 1834 in Quebec City, his name appears on his father's memorial in Mount Hermon.^4,5

     Robert Shore Milnes Sewell was born in 1827 in Cape Colony, South Africa, His father's regiment was in Capetown at the time.² He was the son of Col. John Saint-Alban Sewell and Margaret Hobbs.¹ Robert Shore Milnes Sewell married Louisa F. Wicksteed, daughter of F.R. Wicksteed, on 22 March 1856 in St. George's Church, Toronto, Rev. Dr. Lett officiated. Robert Shore Milnes Sewell died on 15 February 1901 in Toronto, Ontario, of influenza.³

     Robert Treveylian Sewell was born circa 1837.¹ He was the son of Montague Charles Sewell.¹ Robert Treveylian Sewell died on 11 June 1849 in Quebec.¹ He was buried on 14 June 1849 in Quebec, the burial record is clear that the boy's mother was not married to his father. It is silent as to the name. E.W. Sewell, the boy's uncle and John Ross were both present at the funeral.¹

     Samuel Trask Sewell. A lumberman and farmer.³ He was born on 30 November 1826 in Farmington, Franklin County, Maine.^3,4 He was the son of Levi Sewall and Rebecca Alexander.¹ Samuel Trask Sewell married Nancy Clements Brown, daughter of James Brown and Mary Ann Russell, on 23 July 1857 in Hersey, Maine.² Samuel Trask Sewell died in March 1913 in Island Falls at the age of 86.¹

     Sewallis Arthur Sewell was born on 15 September 1854. Sewallis Arthur Sewell's birth was registered in the quarter ending September 1854 in the Hollingbourne, Kent registration district; and on the same page in the index to the register as his twin? still-born? un-named brother.¹ He was the son of Rev. Henry Doyle Sewell M.A. and Elizabeth Charlotte Monypenny. Sewallis Arthur Sewell was baptised on 8 January 1855 in the the Parish Church, Headcorn, Kent, by James I. Monypenny, Vicar of Hadlow.² He appeared in the 1871 census in a public school in at St. Helen's Crescent, Portsea.³ He was appointed on 1 July 1874, a lieutenant in the Royal Marine Light Infantry. He appears on the census of 1881 as Lieutenant RMLI on the vessel (HMS) Triumph.¹ He married Cecilia Hara Dotiani Noris before April 1884 the marriage was registered in Gravesend district in the January-March quarter of that year. In view of the bride's age it is possible that the wedding took place abroad and was subsequently registered in England.⁴ On 1 April 1884 he was promoted Captain. He was placed on half-pay on 8 August 1885 and The London Gazette of 3 September states that he was placed on the retired list 24 August, 1886. Sewallis Arthur Sewell died on 5 May 1890 at 9 Albany Road, Rochester, Kent, at the age of 35.⁵ He was buried on 10 May 1890 in St. Margaret's, Rochester, Kent.⁶
