Rev. Nicholas Tindal M.A.. Vicar of Sandhurst in Gloucester.¹ He was born on 6 July 1810 in London.² He was the son of Sir Nicolas Conyngham Tindal and Merelina Symonds.¹ Rev. Nicholas Tindal M.A. was educated at Winchester; entered Trinity College Cambridge 3 September 1827; matriculated Michaelmas 1829; B.A. 1833; M.A. 1836. Admitted to Lincoln's Inn 18 April 1833.³ He married Anne Frances Schweitzer, daughter of John George Schweitzer, on 9 April 1839 in St. Sidwell's Church, Exeter, Devon, the service was conducted by the Rev. S.J. Lott.⁴ Rev. Nicholas Tindal M.A. died on 25 August 1842 at the age of 32.⁵

Nicolas Charles Tindal was born on 27 November 1857 in London.¹ He was the son of Vice-Admiral Louis Symonds Tindal and Henrietta Maria O'Donel Whyte. Nicolas Charles Tindal was baptised on 8 February 1858 at St. Peter's, Notting Hill, London.² He was educated at Westminster School to which he was admitted on 26 September 1872 and left at Christmas 1874.³ He could possibly be the N.C. Tindal aged 35 who is recorded as having arrived in Australia on board the Port Pirie on 3 February 1888.⁴ He arrived in Sydney on 13 January 1890 as 2nd mate on the 33 ton missionary steamer Ellengowan in-bound from the South Sea islands; he is listed as super-caro when the same vessel docks again in Sydney on 4 December 1891, this time from the Solomon Islands.

He was subsequently a trader on Faisi.⁵

He married Minnie Thursa Louise McDonald, daughter of John McDonald and Melinda (Unknown), in 1895 on Island of Faisi, Shortland Islands, Solomon Islands. Nicolas Charles Tindal died on 4 January 1901 at the age of 43 at sea aboard the Titus and was buried on Lord Howe Island.

Sir Nicolas Conyngham Tindal. Chief Justice of the Common Pleas. He was born on 12 December 1776 in Coval Hall, near Chelmsford, Essex.¹ He was the son of Robert Tindal and Sarah Pocock.¹ Sir Nicolas Conyngham Tindal married Merelina Symonds, daughter of Capt. Thomas Symonds RN and Elizabeth Mallet, on 2 September 1809 in Milford, Hampshire.² Sir Nicolas Conyngham Tindal died on 6 July 1846 in Folkestone at the age of 69 at 7.30 in the evening.¹ He was buried on 14 July 1846 in Kensal Green Cemetery, Middlesex.¹ See (UND:]British Library, Manuscript Collections[:UND) Add MS 63091. Thomas William Tindal was born on 8 September 1821.¹ He was the son of Thomas Tindal and Mary Anne Uhtoff.¹ He was educated at Eton and Trinity College, Cambridge, taking his B.A. degree in 1845 and his M.A. in 1848. He entered at Lincoln's Inn on May 3,1845, and afterwards practised as a special pleader in Paper Buildings, Temple. For many years ho enjoyed a large practice, and was well known at Judges' Chambers. He was called to the Bar at Lincoln's Inn in 1885, but never appeared in Court.² Thomas William Tindal married firstly Louisa Mathilda Trueman, daughter of Thomas Trueman, on 3 September 1864 in British Embassy, Paris.¹ Thomas William Tindal married secondly Jessie Boyd, daughter of Edward Lennox Boyd, on 21 December 1889 in Chapel Royal, Savoy.³ Thomas William Tindal died on 6 November 1903 in Queen's Mansions, London, at the age of 82.²

Abigail Titcomb was born on 20 October 1718 in Newbury, Massachusetts.¹ She was the daughter of Joseph Titcomb and Sarah Batchelder. Abigail Titcomb was living in Newbury, Massachusetts.² She married Henry Sewall, son of Nicholas Sewall and Mehitable Storer, on 8 December 1749 in York, Maine, the marriage was performed by Jeremy Moulton.³ Abigail Titcomb died on 27 July 1797 in York, Maine, at the age of 78 (Sinnett gives a date of 27 July 1798) but the death is reported in the 19 August 1797 edition of The Oracle of the Day.^4,5 She was buried in Old York Cemetery, York, Maine.⁶
