     Catherine Butt's birth was registered in the quarter ending September 1863 in the Kensington, London registration district.^2,3 She was the daughter of Colonel Thomas Bromhead Butt and Geraldine May Sewell.¹ Catherine Butt died on 10 April 1892 in Holyhead, Anglesey, at the age of 28.⁴

     Geraldine Butt. Authoress. Geraldine Butt's birth was registered in the quarter ending September 1854 in the Winchester, Hampshire registration district.² She was the daughter of Colonel Thomas Bromhead Butt and Geraldine May Sewell.¹ The marriage of Geraldine Butt and Colonel John Campbell Robertson-Glasgow was registered in the quarter ending 17 December 1878 in the Kensington, London registration district.² Geraldine Butt died on 23 September 1920.³ The funeral of Geraldine Butt took place on 28 September 1920 at St. Philip's, Earl's Court Road, London, Internment at Brompton Cemetery.³

     Gertrude Jane Butt was born on 2 November 1860 in Simla, India.² She was the daughter of Colonel Thomas Bromhead Butt and Geraldine May Sewell.¹ Gertrude Jane Butt married Sir Matthew Kendal St. John Franks MD, son of Robert F. Franks and Henrietta Bushe, on 23 December 1885 in St. Phillip's, Earl's Court, London, (Duff p. 91 notes she died unmarried).^3,4 Gertrude Jane Butt died in 1896 in South Africa.⁵

     Margaret Lucy Butt's birth was registered in the quarter ending September 1864 in the Eton, Buckinghamshire registration district; the 1881 census gives her birth place as Slough.¹ She was the daughter of Colonel Thomas Bromhead Butt and Geraldine May Sewell.¹ Margaret Lucy Butt appeared in the 1911 census living with her sister at Torquay, Devon.² She died suddenly on 23 December 1939 in Kirklands, Gullane, East Lothian, Scotland, at the age of 75.³

     Mary Butt was born on 28 July 1855 in Banchory-Ternan, Kincardineshire, at 5.30 a.m.² She was the daughter of Colonel Thomas Bromhead Butt and Geraldine May Sewell.¹ The marriage of Mary Butt and Admiral Sir Day Hort Bosanquet GCMG., GCVO., KCB was registered in the quarter ending March 1881 in the Croydon registration district.^3,4 Mary Butt died on 20 May 1930 in Forest Edge, Liss, Hampshire, at the age of 74 the funeral took place at Shaw Parish Church near Newbury.⁵

     Rev. Thomas Butt. Curate of Trentham (1805-41); Rector of Kynnersley (1816-41). He was born in 1777. He married Catherine Bromhead, daughter of Rev. Edward Bromhead, on 18 October 1820.^2,3 Rev. Thomas Butt died on 14 June 1841 in Dover Street, London.⁴

     Thomas Bromhead Butt was born on 17 October 1857 in Kilmory Cottage, Lochgilphead, Argyll.² He was the son of Colonel Thomas Bromhead Butt and Geraldine May Sewell.¹ Thomas Bromhead Butt married Alice Bovill, daughter of Rt. Hon. Sir William Bovill and Maria Bolton, on 30 October 1888 in Lindula Church, Dimbula, Ceylon.³ Thomas Bromhead Butt died on 26 October 1895 in Lamoenfontein, Cape of Good Hope, at the age of 38.⁴

     Colonel Thomas Bromhead Butt was born on 3 August 1821 in Trentham, Staffordshire.² He was the son of Rev. Thomas Butt and Catherine Bromhead.^2,3 Colonel Thomas Bromhead Butt was christened on 19 August 1821 at Trentham, Staffordshire.² Ensign, 3rd of April, 1840; lieutenant, 2nd of August, 1842; captain, 2nd of April, 1847; Major, 17th of July, 1857; lieutenant-colonel, 26th of April, 1859; colonel, 23rd of May, 1864; exchanged to the 86th regiment. He served in the Indian campaign of 1858-59, including the siege and capture of Lucknow, with the 79th Highlanders. (Brevet of lieutenant-colonel. Medal and clasp.). He married Geraldine May Sewell, daughter of Sheriff William Smith Sewell and Mary Isabella Smith, on 14 July 1852 in Trinity Chapel, Quebec, Canada, the service was conducted by the Rev. E.W. Sewell.^4,5 Colonel Thomas Bromhead Butt died on 6 August 1877 at 5 Drummond Place, Edinburgh, at the age of 56.^6,7

     William E. Butt was born on 8 March 1862 in Simla, India.¹ He was the son of Colonel Thomas Bromhead Butt and Geraldine May Sewell.¹

     Susan Butterfield married Matthew Mitchell on 26 April 1616.^2,1 Susan Butterfield and Matthew Mitchell emigrated in 1635 to Boston landing there on 17 August. They both dissented from the Laudian Church of England.³

     John George Butterworth married Elizabeth Shaw.¹

     Wilfred Rosamond Shaw Butterworth was born on 18 June 1892 in Ottawa, Ontario.² He was the son of John George Butterworth and Elizabeth Shaw.¹ Wilfred Rosamond Shaw Butterworth married Doreen Isabel Atkinson, daughter of William Frederick Vannovous Atkinson and Constance Isabel Temple, on 15 June 1920 in Sault Ste Marie, Ontario.¹

     Abigail Buttrick married John Flint, son of Colonel John Flint and Mary Oakes, in 1713.^1,2

     Edward Buxton was the son of Rev. Edward Buxton and Elizabeth McFarland.¹ Edward Buxton died in infancy.¹

     Rev. Edward Buxton married Elizabeth McFarland, daughter of Rev. Asa McFarland and Elizabeth Kneeland, on 12 September 1838 in Boscawen, New Hampshire.¹ Rev. Edward Buxton died on 11 September 1842.¹

     Elizabeth Buxton was the daughter of Rev. Edward Buxton and Elizabeth McFarland.¹

     John Buzzard died before 1871.

     James Buzzell was born in 1735 in Kingston, New Hampshire. He married Abigail Clough.¹ Was a private in Capt. John Hill's company, Col. Joshua Wingate's regiment to guard Piscataqua Harbour. James Buzzell died in 1800 in Hopkinton.

     Mary Buzzell was the daughter of James Buzzell and Abigail Clough.¹ Mary Buzzell married James Straw, son of Jonathan Straw and Mary Carr.¹

     Dr. Joseph Alexander Bybee was born on 9 September 1891.² He married Laura Ella Sewall, daughter of Krouse Sewall and Hattie Muckle, in September 1930.² Dr. Joseph Alexander Bybee died on 2 September 1989 in Houston, Texas, at the age of 97.³

     Nathaniel Byfield was born in 1653 in Long Ditton, Surrey, England.^1,2 He was the son of Richard Byfield.² He emigrated to America in 1664, settling in Boston, where he engaged in mercantile pursuits. He removed to Bristol, R. I., in 1674, and acquired a proprietary interest in one-fourth of the land of that town after King Philip's war. He took an active interest in the growth, development and government of the town, served as speaker of the house of representatives for a season, and as judge of the Bristol county court of common pleas for thirty-eight years. He was judge of the vice-admiralty from 1704-15, and again in 1720. He returned to Boston in 1724, was appointed judge of the court of common pleas of Suffolk county, and later became a member of the Massachusetts council, retaining the latter office for many years. He was the author of an Account of the late Revolution in New England; together with the Declaration of the Gentlemen, Merchants and Inhabitants of Boston (1689).² Nathaniel Byfield married Sarah Leverett, daughter of Governor Sir John Leverett and Sarah Sedgwick, in 1718.³ Nathaniel Byfield died on 6 June 1733 in Boston.¹

      He was a pastor at Long Ditton, Surrey.²

     Elizabeth Bynion was the daughter of Margaret Foxall.¹

     Rebecca Bynion was the daughter of Margaret Foxall.¹

     Thomas Bynion was the son of Margaret Foxall.¹

     Mary Byrd was the daughter of Dr. Richard Byrd and Elizabeth Meye.^3,2 Mary Byrd is also recorded as Mary Bird. She married Daniel Gookin, son of John Gookin of Ripple Court and Catherine Denne, on 31 January 1608/9 in Canterbury Cathedral.⁴ Mary Byrd died in 1635.⁴ She was buried on 27 July 1635 in Bitton, Gloucestershire.⁴

     Dr. Richard Byrd. One of the Canons of Canterbury Cathedral.^1,3 He was born circa 1546.⁴ He married Elizabeth Meye, daughter of Dr. John Meye, Bishop of Carlisle and Amy Vowell.¹ Dr. Richard Byrd died in June 1609.⁵ He was buried on 19 June 1609 in Canterbury Cathedral.⁵

     Sophia Stewart Byrth married Edward Raynes.¹ Sophia Stewart Byrth was born circa 1829.¹

     Andrew Cabot was born in 1750.² He was the son of Joseph Cabot and Anne Orne.² Andrew Cabot married Lydia Dodge.¹ Andrew Cabot died in 1791.²

     Ann Cabot was born on 8 March 1710/11.¹ She was the daughter of John Cabot and Anne Orne.¹ Ann Cabot died on 9 June 1739 at the age of 28 unmarried.¹
